Delaware County publishes a genuinely useful Municipal Officials Directory every year: names, phone numbers, and meeting schedules for every elected official, code enforcement officer, and zoning officer across all 49 municipalities. The problem is the format. It's a long PDF, updated by hand throughout the year, and there's no way to search it, filter it by town, or find just the one phone number you actually need without scrolling through fifty pages of council rosters. Older, unofficial copies of this kind of information turn up online too, some of them years out of date.
DelcoPermits takes the same underlying information and rebuilds it as something you can actually use: search a town, see the number for its code enforcement officer or building inspector, and move on with your day.
Where the information comes from
Every listing here is drawn directly from the Delaware County Planning Department's own Municipal Officials Directory. The county revises that document throughout the year as municipalities report changes, and this site is updated to match. Even so, a phone number or an officer's name can change between updates on either end. If something here doesn't match what a municipality tells you, the municipality is right, and we'd appreciate hearing about it through the contact page so we can fix it.
What this site is not
DelcoPermits is an independent reference site. It is not operated by Delaware County or by any municipality listed here, and it isn't the place to file a permit application, pay a fee, or submit official paperwork. For that, use the phone number, email, or website listed for the specific municipality.
